SAILING on Lake Attersee!
Riding the wind…
Lake Attersee, famous for its ‘rose winds’, has already been a fixture on the regatta scene for decades. Why ‘rose winds’? It is said that long ago, Castle Kammer was surrounded by rose gardens, and their perfume was carried by the wind over Lake Attersee from the north-east. The rose winds’ trademark is the weather that comes along with them – glorious blue skies and sunshine.
